2015 – Wisconsin

A few days up north in Wisconsin to catch the perseid meteor shower (which was a bust), try to find the Necedah wolves (zero of 4 for trips in trying to find these things) and camp with some friends.

Just about wrecked the car trying to catch this shot. Saw him pop up out of corner of my eye while driving by. Thought was wolf, still pretty for a Coyote


Pelicans? In Wisconsin? Seems strange to me


Blue Heron on approach


And sticks the landing


I spent a while watching this osprey, couldnt get as close as I wanted, but he is starting a dive in this sequence


And no luck. I did about as well fishing in this lake as it did.
